F30 Voodoo Fighter
I guess it’s pretty obvious that the F30 Voodoo is my interpretation of a fighting knife. So I won’t bother talking too much about that aspect. I’ll just say that this one is actually one of my favorite knives in the line-up. I took the opportunity to look at lots of fighting knives from WW2 and from Bo Randall’s wonderful creations and I threw in some of my own ideas and eccentricities.
The standard fighter configuration goes like this: A commando grind, bi-directional saw teeth (I guess that’s the right name for saw teeth that are angled opposite ways?), large double guard, finger grips in the handle and a castle bolt (a standard bolt pommel with grooves machined in the face) all in the hidden tang style. That’s my idea of a fighting knife. Now, granted, I don’t ever want to have to fight with a knife, I reckon it’s better called a combat knife, but “fighting knife” just sounds cooler somehow.
The reason I like this one is because of all the bells and whistles I get to put on the standard model. It comes standard with five options, that’s fun stuff.
