M31 Scorpious
This one started out as a pure adventure in design. It’s inspired by, of all things, the Lockheed Constellation. If you don’t know what that is, don’t worry, it’s not some secret woodsman land navigation tool. It’s actually an aircraft. Not just any aircraft, in my opinion it’s one of the most beautiful, elegant airframes ever made. If you look at the fuselage from the side, and if I did my job right, you should be able to see those same lines in the Scorpious pattern. It’s sort of a gentle, sweeping “s” curve.
The really cool thing is, that after I drew it out, I realized it looked similar to the classic Canadian skinner knife. Not exactly, but reminiscent. It is a really light, and “quick” feeling knife. It’s suited to finer, detail work in thinner stock but can be used for a tough woods knife in thicker stock.
