I’ll just get right to the point, The Wicked Witch is my interpretation of the Finnish Puukko. Simple, sort of plain, but practical, the Puukko is an iconic design. The Wicked Witch differs from the traditional Puukko in several ways. First of all, it has the characteristic Turley dropped edge. Secondly it comes with a variety of grinds (whereas a Puukko traditionally comes with only the very low 1/4 height grind). Thirdly, it comes standard in full tang construction (although you can get it in hidden tang construction if you’d like). Fourthly, The WW has a much more rounded nose than a Puukko. (Some would say that’s the best part, since it’s a wood working knife. Maybe, but the bull nose is better for general utility and skinning/gutting tasks.) There are more, but in general it is the basic idea and pattern of a Puukko.
If you like the styling of the straight handle then you’ll like the Wicked Witch I’d bet.
