This line of knives consists of old patterns that I quit making around 2012. At that time I changed anything in the lineup that didn't reflect my current style. On occasion I have people ask me to make one of these old patterns and up to now I have declined to do so, mainly because I don't want to make them. They don't reflect the direction I'm heading in now and to be frank, they're pretty boring and uninspired in my opinion. There's nothing here that is in any way unique or distinct.

Nevertheless, some people have a soft spot for those old patterns and some of them got pretty upset that I wouldn't make them any more. So I thought of a compromise: I'll make you one if you want, but it's going to be expensive. Win, win. You get an old pattern and I get compensated for making something I don't really want to make.
