Fleetside optioins
The name Fleetside comes from General motors. Back in the day that's what they called their wide bed trucks. I like Gm trucks and I like the stripe that used to run down the side of the Fleetside models. So I used the name in tribute to those days gone by and the fondness I have for them.
What is a Fleetside option? It means there's a stripe of contrasting material running down the side of each scale. There is the regular Fleetside option which uses micarta, wood, resin, etc of your choice. And there is the Fleetside Deluxe option which uses aluminum, copper or brass for the contrasting stripe. Not available on knives with pommel plates, bolt pommels or guards. Here are some examples.
This knife has OD green micarta scales with a Natural linen micarta Fleetside option.
